Perniola


The Perniola Alimenti è a’organic company, established just over 10 years ago.
Our project was to radically change our lives and challenge ourselves, subverting the common logics associated with doing business, namely those based on resource exploitation, productivity pushed at the expense of the’environment, and above all that pursuit of profit at any cost. Soon, thanks to the collaboration with the CNR in Bari and later with the facultyà of Agraria, we specialized in cultivation, milling and processing of ancient grains which we guard together with the CNR. . Ours è a 100% traceable and organic supply chain.

Once milled, at our stone mill, these grains become, in fact, whole grain flours which naturally give rise to doughs that are low in gluten and starch and therefore very highly digestible;; all our products are therefore whole grain and are so, not because of the excessive presence of bran (there'è only that which belongs to the grain, we do not “reconstitute”) but because of the presence of nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
Our philosophy è therefore, to put into practice a’sustainable agriculture with low yields: we preferred to achieve a limited but uncompromising production, both for the health of our planet and for the health of anyone looking for agenuine food and a lifestyle aimed at well-being.
